Roundtables Begin Again
Yes it’s that time again...roundtables start again September 2 at the LDS church in Brooklyn Park.
We are Proud to Present...
Please join me in welcoming the 3 newest faces to the Northern Lights District Committee...
Janet Jefferson - Janet is long-time Scouter who has played many roles in her Scouting career. We are excited that she has now decided to take on the role of Northern Lights Membership Chair. Janet always brings her enthusiasm and friendly smile to everything she does, and we are excited about the contributions she will bring to this new role.
Don Peterson - Don Peterson has graciously accepted the role of Northern Lights Activity Chair. Don has quite an extensive resume of Scouting. Currently, he is Scoutmaster of Troop 84 in Maple Grove. Many of you are aware of Don's talents, as he was the chair for the fall Camporee. Again Don will be chairing Northern Lights 2009 fall Camporee but will also use his extensive skills and expertise to expand upon Northern Lights other activities.
Chris Sandberg - Chris will be taking over as Northern Lights District Commissioner. Chris has a long list of resources and experience he will bring to his new position. Over the last couple of years Chris has been involved with the council's presidents cabinet, council Venturing committee, and Central region Scouting, just to name a few. We are excited to have Chris join us back in his home district.
