"Every Scout Deserves a
Trained Leader" Worksheets
It is easy to keep a record of training
completed by all leaders in your pack or troop
using these worksheets. Developed by Pat
Johnston, the "Every Scout Deserves a Trained
Leader"
worksheets (
21 KB) provide a simple means of tracking
required training and the completion dates. For
additional information or questions concerning
these worksheets, contact

Guide to Safe Scouting
The "Guide
to Safe Scouting"
is a unit leader's guide for current policies
and procedures to safe activities.
The purpose of this document is to prepare adult
leaders to conduct Scouting activities in a safe
and prudent manner. The policies and guidelines
have been established because of a real need to
protect members from known hazards that have
been identified through eighty-plus years of
experience. Limitations on certain activities
should not be viewed as stumbling blocks;
rather, policies and guidelines are best
described as stepping-stones toward safe and
enjoyable adventures.
Webelos Transition
Ensuring that all Webelos Scouts transition in
an orderly manner takes advance planning. These
documents provides you with ideas and tips for
the period of time before and after the Webelos
bridge into your Troop.
"Webelos
Transition" (
68 KB) was presented by Antone Gregory at the
September, 2004 , Manitou Roundtable special
breakout session.
